Account Bars: Please state limit including VAT. This amount is payable 14 days prior to function. When limit is reached the bar reverts to a "cash Only" bar. It is not possible to raise the limit. Should the limit not be reached, a refund is made by us within seven working days from date of function. A 2% administration charge is added to the final bill. Clinet wishing to board their own wine or champagne (no other drinks may be boarded) must notify us in advance and pay all corkage charges fourteen days prior to function. We reserve the right to confiscate any drinks brought abroad in contravention of this rule.

Music

Disco Live Music Clients' Own
Music will be arranged through our resident DJ's or bands. Clients' own music can only be baorded by prior arrangement and on payment of the surcharge - See Boat Hire price list.

SECTION C - CATERING REQUIREMENTS

Catering arranged through Admiral & Amos (caterers other than our own cannot be used on our vessels). Clients' own catering (cold ready prepared food only) can be boarded by prior arrangement and on payment of surcharge - see Boat Hire price list.

HIRING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. In these conditions the terms set out below shall have the following meanings hereby assinged to them, that is to say:
    "Vessel" means the vessel which the Hirerer agrees by his contract to hire or any substituted vessel.
    "Hirer" means the Company, organisation or Person(s) whoa grees to hire the Vessel, including all persons in the Hirer's party.
    "The Company" means Admiral Enterprises.
    "The Function" means the purpose for which the vessel is hired.
  2. HIRE FEE
    A non-returnable deposit of 25% of the total of the boat hire, music requirements and catering requirements where applicable shal be paid by the Hirerer on booking to reserve the Function Date, vessel, music requirements and catering. The balance for boat hire and music must be paid at least 28 days prior to Function and balance for Catering together with all other charges 14 days prior to the Function and failure to pay shall result in cancellation of the booking by The Company with all outstanding payments put into the hands of colectors for recovery by The Company.
  3. CANCELLATION
    The Hirer is entitled to cancel his booking provided The Company receives notice of cancellation not later than eight weeks (56 days) before the Function date. No cancellation will be accepted within the said eight weeks of the Function date unless the Company is able to re-let the date of the hire (less adminstration charge) and if the Company is unable to re-let the date the whole amount of the Hire Charge will be payable by the Hirer to the Company.
  4. CAPTAIN'S CONTROL OF VESSEL
    During the hire the Vessel shall remain under the complete control of the Captain and/or Crew. Every effort will be made to adhere to agreed embarkation and disembarkation piers, times of sailing, including departure and arrival at terminal and intermediate piers but all such agreed times shall be approximate only and may be altered at any time. The Company reserves the right to vary the embarkation and disembarkation piers should circumstances arise beyond our control although every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience to the Hirer. If for weather, tidal or other reasons the Captain considers it necessary to vary the trip his orders shall be obeyed by the Hirer. Should the Hirer have any cause for complaint he must notify the Captain before termination of the hire and confirm the compaint in writing within 7 days from the date of function and the Company will not accept compaints not so notified.
  5. LIABILITY OF THE COMPANY
    If the Vessel shall be prevented by any cuase whatsoever from sailing or proceeding in the ordinary course, the Company reserves the right to substitute another vessel and if necessary cancel the said function and except as provided below, shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the Hirer or his party except in so far as the same shall be caused by the negligence of the Company, its servants or agents. The Company shall not be liable for accident, damage, loss or injury to any chattels of the Hirer howsoever caused and whethee such damage occurs on the Vessel itself or during embarkation or disembarkation.
  6. HIRER'S LIABILITY
    The Hirer shall be liable for any loss or damage to the Vessel or its equipment or fittings caused by him or any person in his party
    7. (whether in the party lawfully or not). Any glasses, cutlery or crockery broken, thrown overboard or otherwise removed from the Vesel will be charged to he Hirer at cost price. The Hirer is invited to inspect the Vessel before embarkation in order to satisfy himself that the Vessel is suitable for his planned function.

CATERING AND SUNDRY REQUIREMENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A non-returnable deposit of 25% is payable on booking. The balance to be paid 14 days prior to the function.

FOOD - The Company reserves the right to substitute similar food for any foods or seasonabe foods which are unobtainable at the date of the Function.

PRICES - All prices are stated plus VAT. The Company reserve the right to vary prices in extreme circumstances should market costs fluctuate extensively. The Hirer would be notified prior to final payment.

REDUCTION OR INCREASE IN NUMBERS - Any reduction in numbers must be notified in writing and no decrease in numbers will be accepted from fourteen days prior to the function and not at any time below the minimum number as agreed between The Client and The Company. Numbers can increase up to three days to day of function provided that markets are open on the aforesaid three days and provided that any such increase be notified in writing and accompanied by full payment.

CANCELLATION - Deposit is non-returnable
Up to 28 days deposit only is lost.
28 days to 10 dys before function, 20% of total amount is payable.
10 days to 2 days before function, 50% of total amount is payable.
2 days to day of function, 100% of total is payable.
